Position: School Student Counsellor
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counselling support to students regarding academic, social, emotional, and personal concerns.
- Create a safe, confidential, and supportive environment where students feel comfortable seeking guidance.
- Identify students who may require additional emotional, behavioural, or academic support and provide appropriate interventions.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and school leadership to support students' overall well-being.
- Develop and implement student support programmes and wellbeing initiatives.
- Maintain appropriate and confidential records of counselling sessions and student progress.
- Support students with academic planning, career guidance, and personal development.
- Assist in addressing behavioural and social challenges through appropriate counselling strategies.
- Participate in safeguarding, school wellbeing activities, meetings, and professional development programmes.
